Who I Work With

I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families navigating anxiety, life transitions, emotional challenges, and school-related stress. I have extensive experience supporting multicultural and multilingual communities and am especially passionate about working with young people and their families.

My Approach

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I focus on creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. I believe each person already has the capacity for growth, and therapy is a place to reconnect with that.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, always through a culturally responsive and affirming lens. I help clients build awareness, develop practical coping tools, and reframe challenges in ways that support resilience and long-term growth.

What to Expect

You can expect a calm, supportive environment where we move at your pace. I will meet you where you are while helping you build confidence, emotional clarity, and a stronger sense of self. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling more grounded, capable, and supported in navigating your life.

Background

I am a New York State Certified School Counselor with over 20 years of experience supporting students and families. My work has focused on building trust, bridging cultural gaps, and helping individuals navigate some of life’s most defining moments.

I bring that experience into my clinical work, with a strong focus on early support and prevention. I am currently pursuing advanced training in clinical mental health counseling.

Languages

I offer therapy in English and Cantonese, with conversational Mandarin.
