You wake up already behind, mental lists running before your feet hit the floor. The school emails you haven’t answered. The work deadline that doesn’t allow for the 3 hour midnight meltdown your child had last night. The birthday party you need to plan while managing your divorce paperwork. The aging parents who need you while you’re barely keeping your own household afloat. You’ve become a master logistics coordinator, but somewhere in the constant managing, scheduling, and caretaking, you’ve completely lost track of yourself.
You can’t remember the last time you did something that wasn’t for someone else, and the guilt of even wanting that feels crushing.

Burnout doesn’t just come from doing too much. It comes from carrying it all alone, without space to set anything down. In therapy, we start by acknowledging a radical truth: caring for others requires caring for yourself first.
We use creative approaches to help you access feelings that are too exhausting to talk about.
Maybe you collage the life you’re actually living versus the one you present on social media. Movement work helps discharge the chronic tension you hold in your shoulders, your jaw, and your lower back – all the common places stress sets up camp. Through somatic work, you learn to recognize burnout’s early warning signs before you hit the wall. We practice setting kind and firm boundaries. You might write letters you’ll never send, create rituals for transitions, or use art to process the grief of losing who you were before all this responsibility. These are all necessary practices for nervous system regulation.
The goal is to help you remember that you’re a whole person who deserves care, rest, and space to feel your own feelings. Through creative expression and embodied practices, we help you find pockets of restoration, reconnect with parts of yourself that got buried under everyone else’s needs, and navigate transitions with more grace and less guilt.
You don’t have to carry it all the same way you always have. There’s space for change, and there’s space for you.
